BY CAR

Hire a taxi to Prini Village(on the Naggar side of the Beas) from Manali.A very snaky road (roughly 40 hairpin bends ) hairpin bends will be numbered ,road trip ends at HYDRO power project towards Hamta Pass.At the end where the RESTRICTED ZONE stops the road trip from there the trek(few hours) starts for people who want to get to Hampta Pass by car .On the way you’ll notice that those 40 hairpin bends were worth the natural scenic beauty you have from the top.

While getting through barrier at prini security is a issue, foreigners need to have their passports and preferably be in the company of a local, in some cases even have to use some references(like someone repudiated from the village), . on the way u won’t find any village or shop ,just one small village SETHAN up near the top inhabited mainly by Khampas originally from Tibet, here you can get some basic general store stuff like eatables recently I even noticed basic trekking equipments like rechargeable lamps ,tents, sleeping bags etc are also available at sethan on rent or hire.

And after going through road with 40 hairpin bends please it is humble request don’t expect that those shops at the barren land would offer you items for sale at a discount more over it would be above the MRP,and you will realize it yourself on the way.
